(01) The brief
Three tall windows onto the garden made this bedroom beautiful by day and impossible to darken at dawn. We fitted motorised blackout curtains in mocha with white linen sheers behind, both on tracks recessed into the ceiling, and wrapped the walls in natural grasscloth to soften the acoustics and add warmth.

Grasscloth, hung with care
Natural fibres vary from panel to panel, so every drop was laid out and sequenced before hanging to keep the seams quiet.
